A moose in the making?
I usually discount these ST "phenom" stories that appear this time of year, but I admit being mildly thrilled by this article in today's Newsday. This guy sounds like a moose in the making, if he can hit the big league curve [insert other style pitches here] ball.

He will be 24 in August and is expected to be in AA this season. He is behind on his development and this will be his make of break year. He really needs a big year this year to have a shot at the majors.

Yes, batting .267 at A-level may mean he does not possess "the eye."

And even if he does, he'll play for my Twins. Which means, like Big Papi, he'll have a couple of mediocre, injury-plagued seasons where 20 HR is a godsend before being traded to the team he'll hit 50 a year for.
