OOTP can be fake - or at least frustrating!

Looks at this roster! No way I should be 11-10!

My 16-17 rated batters are striking out against stiffs on other teams, while my opponents, chumps who are rated like 9-10-11 for contact, are lighting up Beckett and Lester. So frustrating!

I think you should give it a little more time. Twenty-one games is a pretty small sample size.

Show us the same screenshot with stats. Ratings don't tell us much.

My initial thought is that it is Reid Brignac's fault.

Someone needs to up the trading difficulty and scout settings if that's your roster...

I fail to see the fun in your game. Especially when you get angry just because you don't win every game. Perhaps you under used them in Spring and they are still shaking rust? Perhaps it is a one in a billion string of cold streaks across the board. Could be a million reasons. Maybe your scout is not reading these guys as well as you think.

Remember entering last season when a near consensus NL pennant pick Washington Nationals were absolutely horrid to start the year and couldn't make the post season? Do you think they called Bud Selig and said "Hey Bud, this game is fake we want our franchise fee back."

From my experience you can never tell how good or bad you will be based on your roster. What do the other teams look like in your league? My current Ford team doesn't have one offensive guy with a power contact or eye above a 6 yet I am predicted to win 107 games and am 17-8. My leadoff guy has a 10 speed yet has 5 SB caught 8 times. I do have 3 great SP. all 3 are rookies and will get hit at some point when i play better teams. I have had a 5 game losing streak and a 11 game winning streak.
Also i dont think your team is all that great. Beckett, Gonzo and Darvish have never won more then 16 with and ERA under 3.50 in 3 different leagues i have seen them in and while Gonzo did hit .371 54 hR 184RBI or so one year you are past that year.
