I just finished a fictional season, and was comparing my stats to the real MLB 2001 stats and noticed that my hitting is a bit inflated. For example, real baseball had roughly 38 players hitting 30+ homeruns, my league had 66 with 30+.
I know that I can adjust this in league totals by increasing the numbers I want to decrease, (something I still can't quite grasp), but can anyone give me any advice on how much to adjust the totals to get a subtle difference? Thanks for any help with this... |

What kind of stadiums were you using, if you had a lot of homer happy stadiums that could also play a role in this *(I believe)*
I don't know how much to adjust it... make a backup copy or two of your league and sim a few test seasons, while adjusting the numbers until they hit your liking might be the best way to check this... or just decided that your fictional league is a hitters paradis and get used to it... it is after all fictional.
