Spring training rosters

Testing out the game with a fictional league. I took over the "Atlanta Rebels" after the initial draft and auto simmed until the first day of spring training. My 40 man roster is only filled with 29 players. Is there a way to fill my spring training roster without starting the clock perse for options and what not? Should I just go ahead and add whoever I think should fill the rest of my 40 man before I start spring training?

Thanks for any help and advice for spring training in the first year of a fictional league with an initial draft.

The only players who can be on the ST roster are players on the 40 man. No way around it without using the player editor.

I would oversign FAs to minor league deals then cut them at the end of ST if you have players you want to protect from service time.

Thanks for the information. I know you can have non roster invitees in real life but I guess that option is not available in OOTP yet.

NRIs are planned for OOTP 15.
