Winter Pro League?

Should I be aware of anything(especially free agents) should I start a winter pro league?

If the league begins in Oct. 2013 and ends in March 2014 is that season considered 2013 or 2014 or 2013-14?

It is considered 2013.

Just remember, if the start date in League Settings is December 26 or later, and it is set to always start on a certain day of the week, you're at risk of a season starting January 1. OOTP is not meant to handle January 1 start dates.

Why isn't it meant to start on Jan 1? What is the problem?

OOTP has always worked fine for me with Jan 1 start dates. I have done a few Australian leagues that have ST in Dec, with opening day on Jan 1 and never had any problems.

The problem is following a January 1, 2014 start with a December 31, 2014 start. Two 2014 seasons.

Then your response should have been, never have a league start twice in the same year.

There is no problem starting a league on Jan 1.
