easier modification of stats totals for leagues
I wish it were easier to determine ahead of time what the league stats output would be for a league. I find the current page (League Setup/Strategy) pretty challenging to figure out... and making a change rarely has the effect I expect it will.
My suggestion would be that various outcomes have two columns: # of a given outcome per 1000 plate appearances in a standard default league, and #/1000 in this particular league. The outcome variables that could be listed include hits, doubles, triples, home runs, stolen bases, caught stealing, walks, hit by pitch, strikeouts, ground ball outs (vs fly outs), then all the less common categories currently listed on the page (wild pitches, balks, etc.) The page could then directly calculate what the league-wide batting average, on-base percentage, slugging percentage, and even runs scored and ERA that would expected for an average season in the league. The advantage of this is that you would easily see what a change would do instead of having to run years of tests, and it would be much more transparent. You would also easily see how each variable compares to a modern default league.
