Bravo to the Development team
I've been a strong advocate for FHM on Social Media (@J_Habs) and I recently downloaded the new patch to see how far they've come.
I was pleasantly surprised as my biggest gripe was with the trading/AI and player development. After some legit tinkering and haggling with Sather I managed to pry Stepan, Kreider, Buchnevich & a 2nd away from the Rangers. In return I gave up David Desharnais Magnus Nygren Rene Bourque Louis Leblanc Francis Bouillon Tim Bozon (7.5 Potential) a 3rd round pick in 2014 Brady Vail Aaron Hoyles (Not sure who this is) Josiah Didier and Dustin Walsh While this may look like a fleece (and imo it's a great deal for me) I still feel that the AI was vastly improved in comparison to back in October. I tinkered with what I felt was a fair deal and following the feedback of both my head scout & Sather I was able to pull off a deal that satisfied both sides. So I feel as a whole these improvements will (and already have) improve my overall enjoyment of the game. +1 to everyone, you're on the right track and I feel this game is already leaps and bounds ahead of where it was on launch day. |

I'm not sure if my sarcasm detector works correctly.

Great....things have gotten better. They are now at EHM level of trading....5 scrubs gets you a stud, and 4 scrubs and a mid level pick get you another stud. Should those two you know...actually be studs.
Definitely an improvement from 3 scrubs per stud.

So you make an outlandish trade to prove that the trading AI works correctly?
You trade away - a 37-year old #5/6 defenseman without any playoff success - a 31-year old inconsistent, frustrating player - a 26-year old dime-a-dozen-player - one good prospect - a pile of crap to a boarderline playoff team which has finally managed to re-build somewhat and receive - their best young NHLer - one good prospect - another good prospect Add to that: You gain $4 million cap space!! You honestly think that the AI made a good trade there? Last edited by pens66; 12-17-2013 at 05:50 AM. |

Trading is still suboptimal and it´s waaaaay too easy to get everything you want without giving up too much
