Trading After Season One

I just finished a custom league season two and I was not able to make trades. During season one everything was fine then anything to do with trades was turned off. This has happened in a couple of customs I've started but not all. Any ideas?

Check the league events of your custom league...there´s a trading stop until FA starts (at least in the regular leagues like NHL,WHA).
Usually you should be able to trade again after July 1st

I've have noticed the same thing in several custom leagues I've created. Trades will work until the trade deadline in the first year and then once the trade deadline passes, trading never gets re-enabled. So as a work around, Just go into commish mode and league settings, uncheck the box for trade deadline. Trades will work again. I just recheck the box for trade deadline at the trade deadline.

Just curious, how are you able to re-check the box for the trade deadline when your trade deadline comes? Even in commish mode league rules are not available to be edited when the season begins.

Your right, I never changed it back so I didn't realize, as I haven't gotten to a second year trade deadline yet.
