Confused about L/R ratings

*disclaimer - I haven't followed every OOTP5 feature thread, so maybe I missed the answer to this*

The recent Ugh.com preview says that full ratings are gone, and now it's just overall ratings for contact, power and eye. This seems like the "reduced" ratings in OOTP4.

But, if this is true, how do we know about how a batter rates against lefties, or righties? Are those ratings still available to see? Not being able to see L/R ratings under the reduced ratings is - to me - a big flaw in 4.

Hopefully I'm just missing something, and you'll still be able to see how a player rates against L/R, for those of us who like to use platoons.

Traditional ratings are NOT gone, BUT for custom league creation the "default" is reduced ratings.

hate to pile on the preview bashing, but

"No longer do players have ratings for hits, doubles, triples, homers, walks and strikeouts" would seem to be a pretty huge factual error.
