Nice touch, sorry if it's posted in wrong place

So I just played through a 3 hit shutout by my AA ace, and the game stopped working when I tried to leave from the final box score. Came back, simmed through the day expecting a different result, but the same game played itself out. Just wanted to say I was very pleased.

This is the right place and I would say that you were also very lucky, AFAIK.

Yeah I am pretty sure that you were just lucky more than the game saving the day played.

Not sure, the details were so suspiciously close down to pitch count and everything. If there was a discrepancy it was too minor for me to notice. The thing that sucks is this was a game I replayed 4 or 5 times, each time I tried to save&leave in the first 3 or 4 innings to do something else, it crashed on me.

Not a good sign. If that keeps happening, try saving the league (just in case) and uninstalling and reinstalling the game (don't worry about the license in this case - there's no need to release it or anything and your computer will remember it, I believe).

If it still is a problem after that, then there could be something wrong with your league files or your computer. You should certainly be able to save, leave, and return to your game without that happening.

Contact tech support if you need help.

Is this proof everything's pre-determinded?

Markus, are you really actually Dr. Pangloss?

Actually I looked even deeper, and while the box score reflects the 3-0 shutout, the calendar date shows a 5-3 win(the hits were 5-3 in the box score), the pitcher's 5 day history shows a different pitch count(but his notes say he pitched a 3 hit shutout that day), and at least one of my relievers shows as having thrown a few pitches that day. As far as predetermined, I had to play the first few innings of that game a bunch of times and it always came out slightly different.

That's because it's not predetermined.

It's possible to get similar results, because it's the same players playing, but sim out the same game 100 times, and I guarantee no two will be identical, and many will be drastically different.

In an earlier version, a crash occurred as I completed a 4 game sweep of the WS. Luckily I auto-save each day in the playoffs so the game reverted to the previous day with my team leading the WS 3-0. On the redo I got crushed in the next 4 to lose the WS. I always think of that as the one that got away.

Ouch. Lemme guess, you're playing as the Cubs.

Player history says he pitched a shutout that day, but his stat line shows 0 shutouts for the year.

Happened again, crashed as I was leaving game from final box score. Calendar shows a 5-3 loss in 10, box score reflects the game I actually played which was lost 11-2 in 9 innings.

Eesh, that sounds like a bad bug. I'd open a support ticket.
