Joining the league (flies)

I am new to the online portion of OOTP. However, I have become very frustrated with how to actually join the league. What I mean by that is actually get the files to work. I have watched the YouTube video a couple times, but something isn't clicking for me.

Also, I have Mac with the newest OS.

I am eternally grateful to anyone who can help me out. All the beers are on me if you make it to Atlanta!

find a league that uses the OOOL (the in-game league browser) and all you have to do is click a button on the main screen.

I have no clue why more leagues don't use it.

To the OP: can you explain, step by step, what you're doing and what's happening when you do it?

It will be much easier to help if we can follow along and see exactly where you're getting stuck at.

I am downloading the league file, but am unable to save it in the "Saved_Games" folder (or even find the folder for that matter). With the other folders that include jerseys, ect. I haven't even been able to download them.

Does a step by step guide exist for Macs? I feel extremely ignorant posting with what I am sure is a few simple steps.

In my opinion one of the best things about OOTP is the forum community, and you guys are showing that again with the effort to help.

I think that I see the problem. The Saved Games folder is a few folders below the Library folder. On a Mac, the Library folder is hidden by default. To find it, go into Finder and click on the Go menu, located in the very top bar of the screen. While in the Go menu, press the Option key. You should see the Library folder magically appear.

I opened up the Library folder, but I don't see anything from OOTP in there? What in the next step do I need to take next?

On a mac I'm not sure how to access the OOTP folders.
