Fed up

I've had it. I've been working for the last 2 hours trying to start a new game. It keeps telling me it cant create the game. I've changed my administrator settings, I've reinstalled the game, I've had it.

Now this time i've reinstalled the game, and it wont accept my license key. "game could not be activated" Its right because I've just used it last time I reinstalled.

This game is screwed. Best concept ever since EHM, however it's broken right from the get go. Thanks for taking my money. Glad I spent $39 on something I can't use. Consider it a donation. Im out.

With your piss poor attitude, I don't think you should get your money back. There are ways to handle it and this company doesn't hide the fact they will gladly refund you if you aren't satisfied yet you choose the route of acting like a little child!

Always fun to read these kinds of threads, waaaaaah, I got screwed. If you actually read the instructions on things like Elicnese and Esellerate, you would know that when you uninstall something, you should unlicense the product first. You don't read but come here and whine that this game is screwed and you got the shaft.

Like the other poster says, stop acting like a spoiled little child, it won't get you anywhere and just makes you look stupid beyond belief. Contact one of the 2 people they said to contact and things will get taken care of.

Jesus, people are stupid now.

This has got to be one of the worst complaints about FHM Ever!!!!! At least, others complain about the faults of the actual game, not because they did something wrong upon installation.

Wow just wow doesn't everyone know you sould un realse your license before you uninstall the game!! People get way over board with stuff its simple no one made you buy the game everyone knew what they were buying when the beta came out its a new game of course it will have some bugs god damn some people on here make me sick Rome wasn't built in a day!!!!

Did you even read, the way he posted his compliant? When you come on here all hotheaded they way he did, why would he get sympathy?

You tell everyone else to be reasonable and to be people, and then you criticized everyone's posts. Maybe get off your seemingly high horse.

Now if he had politely come on here, and told us his problem, then he would have easily gotten a nice response, along with tips to fix the problem.

People are stupid. You are totally right. Stupid to think the automatic solution must be that other people are stupid. "If I read" lol. Dude, I read. I unlicensed, thanks for your 2 cents. Tell me what else I did wrong, maybe I missed something, but obviously cause you are so smart you only have one suggestion as to whats happening. Let me get something straight with you.

I had the beta on here, I downloaded the patch, couldn't start a new game. I unlicesned and downloaded the full game off the main website, got it licesened - couldn't start a new game. I changed my settings thinking maybe its a permissions thing - couldn't start a new game. I restarted, couldn't start a new game. I unlicesened, uninstalled, and redownloaded the full game plus the patch, licesened up - couldn't start a new game. I repeated the steps again, this time.... Couldn't license.

Dmytron - Thanks. It's nice to see that not everyone is so self conceded that because it works for them it works for everyone else and that if it doesn't to automatically assume that person is just a ******.

By far, I really really looked forward to this game. I played EHM so often and was that excited for this to come out. Am I a hater? no, I still am not a hater. I still love this concept, the hockey sim manager. It's become a real pisser that I can't even get into the game to complain about faults in game. Hater? no. More like disgruntled.

It should also be evident to most that I'm obviously not on these forums much. Also considering my post says about starting a new game, perhaps it should also be evident that I haven't been around FHM since its actual release in september. Perhaps, people shoudl stop immediately calling someone stupid, when they can't look into things properly themselves. I look like the idiot? Who's got the actual solution? Not a single one of you. Just out trolling. Good job. Trolls are stupid.

You haven't been here long, yet you have to claim, that they just took your money from you. Was that necessary? I am more than certain if you contact the people who made this game, they would be more than willing to help you out. The end of your original post is why there was hostility, because there have recently been so many negative people bashing the game, unnecessarily.

Actually, I said consider the money I spent a donation. As if to say I dont care about a refund. And Really... the install process is simple. It's clicking OK. Unless you want to customize the path and location of the files. How does someone mess that up? Theres something wrong, and Im not allowed to be upset about it? Hostility from you people is what really isn't necessary.

The part you put about donation came out like sarcasm to me, as sometimes online posting is hard to gauge someones wording of things.. You can be upset of course, but why give up right away without asking someone in charge to help you out? If the license issue is the problem, I would think they could get it back for you. We can all make mistake, regardless how simple something could be.

You are allowed to be upset, but there is a right way and a wrong way to address any problem. We have all had problems of some sort or another using the game. We know it and stated such in the forums, we help each other and if we can't, send the problems to Sebastian or Jeff who are more than willing to answer questions and have the problems sent to them.


They have admitted time and again that there are problems and admit it. What we all sensed is a hostility from you. There was no anybody else have this issue in your statement. So maybe it was how you went about it that was perceived to be an issue.

This is it fully, you come in here belching fire, game is this and that and say very little about anything other than your detest for the game and that it is broken yet you wonder why people react like they do.

There are numerous threads on here about getting your money back, OOTP is very good at helping people who are having issues but seeing as you have been here since the start of this project, you don't read much because if you did, you would have seen all of these threads stating how to fix and get help.

Back to my point of stupid people.... nah, not really worth it. If you can't see it, so be it. Look around, ASK for help POLITELY and you will see a much different group that post in your thread.

Personally, I try to help most of the time and have no problem with people that ask questions legitimately ask for help but people that just go to a forum with 3 or 4 posts and just spew venom, you just flat out get what you give. I'm done with the thread but maybe this is lesson learned.

It's something as simple as starting the game. installed, patched, licensed. There should have been nothing to fix as it's simply just starting brand new, starting fresh. A Brand new customer would have taken the disc out of the box, installed it, and had an issue. Furthermore, spend 2 hours covering your own due dilligence. Doing things that other people on forums would call you stupid for. Crossing t's and Dotting i's. Tell me if you were a brand new customer purchasing (at this point now) $50, how you would feel.

If this is what the main menu is like, wonder what the game is like. Get it?
