Need help w/ small user issue

I play in the commissioner role, control one team, their minors, and play out the games in one pitch mode. Had to reinstall and re-setup my choices. I have everything (I think), set to human control. When I get to the lineup page before starting the game, my players positions are grayed out. I have looked everywhere! The worst thing is; this has happened before and I fixed it, I don't remember how.
HELP!

HELP!

Only things that come to mind is that under GM you do not have control of the lineups or under Pregame options your MGR is in control not you.
