cap hit penalty

The Flyers have a cap hit penalty for what looks like Chris prongers salary. They should be allowed to ltir him just like in real life so they can then spend beyond the cap. That or just remove him this from the game.
As it is right now the current NHL flyers roster would not be valid in this game but in real life it is.

Prongers salary must be included in the initial roster subbmital but then he can be ltir and you can spend his money on other players. That does not happen here. Here it is just lost space.

IIRC Jeff just retired him and Marc Savard from the DB. Not 100% sure though.

That's my point he isn't retired. He has an injury and is still on the team. If there was a way to ltir his salary to free up that cap space but there isn't.

The retirement with cap penalty is just a temporary solution; we're going to be adding a configuration file soon so pre-existing injuries can exist at the start of the game - at that point, Savard, Pronger, etc. will be returned to active status (but with very long-term injuries.)
