Can't Dress/Scratch Player

Hello,

I am not sure if I am not doing this right, or if my game has a problem, but I can't find a way to dress and scratch players.

If I right click a player's name from the Lineup screen nothing happens. If I go to the Active Roster screen, and right click on a player's name I get a menu including

To Injury List
TO [AHL Team]
TO [ECHL Team]
Place on Trade List
Buyout Rights
Add to Shortlist

But I don't see the option to dress or scratch a player. Am I looking in the wrong place?

No, you should be getting the dress/scratch options on both pages. Is it only happening with particular players, or all of them? And what team are you playing as?

It's happening for all my players. I am playing as the Calgary Flames.

UPDATE: Just started a game as another team (Alaska Aces). Seems I am missing a lot of items...Training,Captaincy,Jersey #, etc,

Any update to finding out what this bug is, or when it'll be corrected?

I played around with this issue and so far, so good. Could it be a corrupted download? Was this the first time you tried this?

edit: I used my Caps '90 and '93 seasons to test this and found no issue with menu system.

Hi there, it's not worked on 4 different saves. I kept creating new games because it wasn't working. I've even uninstalled and reinstalled.

Try it with the default data set perhaps. It's only happening with the Flames. All other teams are fine.

I just tried a new default-setup game with Calgary, and can scratch and dress players with no problem. Could you upload one of those saves so we could have a look at it? Directions here.

I seemed to have isolated the incident. When I changed my player GM's role from 'Teamchef' to 'GM' is when this happened.

Oh, yeah, that'll explain it, alright. I'm actually a little surprised that it has that effect - Sebastian's been adamant that we keep the player in the dual coach/GM role, but that suggests there's some code in the coaching functions that's role-dependent. Interesting.
