Ahh, my home of Lexington is a possible city choice! That alone may cause me to join!

The league will most likely switch to OOTP5 after the first or second season depending on league owners.

Sure, I am willing to accept having an almost non existient team market if it is for my hometown. I will keep my eyes peeled and be ready whenever we start.

Statshu you can have Buffalo. Goroyals and Statshu I am going to need a nickname for your teams. So far I have 6 not included me in the league and a few who are interested who have not taken a team. I will post the cities taken later when a few people get back to me what city they want.

Hmm, the Greensboro Legends? Right now that's all I can come up with, I'd go with Greensboro Generals except that's the ECHL hockey team lol.

copyright BPLA
Dude.
I appreciate mimicry, but when you take my words and claim them as your own, that is going a bit too far. I understand that many online leagues use the same rules, but you do not have permission to copy my work. Here are the rules for the BPLA. You will notice that several spots within my rules and yours are word for word copies. I don't care that you used my league as inspiration. I did the same thing when starting the BPLA. But I never copied the work of others. Did you think I would never find out? I would never actively dissuade others from joining someone else's league. But if someone is capable of this, who knows what else they would do. I believe an apology is in order.

I realize many rules are going to be similar between leagues and leagues use others for inspiration but an email asking for permission seems to be the minimum courtesy. I have had a few new leagues email me about "borrowing" rules from the USBA. I have no problem with it and it can help forge good relations with other commissioners.

Dude I hate to be the oddball here, but owners really don't have to ask your opinion to use that. You don't have a copyright notice on there so it's public domain. Getting upset over something you didn't even protect or claim as your own won't do you a thing.
I've dealt with this in the past, but I didn't mind anyonoe using my constitution because it was my own fault. Then if someone violated my copyright, then they're in some hot water... |

I dont know copyright law, but it seems rude to copy without telling its author, whether or not they asked permission. But it is flattering. The ABF did amend the rules; about 30% look different.

I don't know aout joining now, the rules do look awful similar. Check the BPLA's rules on stadiums then check the ABF's.
I really want to join ram, but being in the BPLA, were several ideas seem to come from, I wish you would have asked before hand to see if it was acceptable.
