International Complex - Manually Assign

I just got 14, and am absolutely loving it after having played only intermittently since OOTPX. I love the new "international complex," but I'm wondering if there's a way to manually assign a player to be there while in Commish mode. I don't see the option in the player editor to force assign a player to that "roster," if you will. I've noticed a couple players on Rookie league rosters who played in the VSL/DSL this summer and I'd rather not have them clogging the low minors rosters after the draft.

That's a bit of a bummer.

The reason you can't force a player to that roster is that the rules regarding who can be on it are very strict. The player MUST meet all of the following criteria: under 20 years of age, from a foreign country, and (a) discovered by your scout as a hidden talent or (b) signed as part of the international amateur signing period. Everyone else goes in the minors, and after being moved from the complex, no player can go back even if he does not play a single game.

The problem here is that there are players who fit those criteria who should be assigned to the complex, but are on the roster set as on rookie league teams.

Also, I'm making a roster set based on the OOTP13 rosters, and I had hoped to assign certain players to the complexes.

I don't know how many guys that would be, and it would be a long workaround, but could you create a new player with the EXACT same ratings as the existing one, but complex-eligible, and then delete the original?

Are those guys that are actually playing for rookie league teams irl? Or guys who are actually in the DSL-VSL? The only guys who should currently be assigned to the rookie leagues are guys who are actually in the rookie leagues.

If you give me some names we can check them out and make some changes to the official db to make sure that rl complex guys are actually in the complexes, if they aren't currently.

Well, as an addendum to that, where do IC players show up in roster exports? They're listed as being on the Major League clubs, but don't show up in the text file.

Not sure.

In our editor we set them as being on the GCL-AZL team, and then check a box to show that they're in the complex, not the GCL-AZL. So maybe try exporting the GCL-AZL rosters?
