I hope all the whining and complaining.....

Does not kill the development of this game. It has huge potential and anyone who thought it would be any different at this point is fooling themselves. I mean even a game like OOTP has problems and been in development a long time.

Yes! it has many problems and they need to be worked out, but the future of this game could be great. Even this version, once many of the problems are improved, is a great first version.

Jeff and all the developers please keep at it and do not give up on this!

JeffR (I think it was him) have already said that version 2 will be done next season so at least there is a 2nd version.

You are right that there is loads of promise in this game even right now and there are a lot of complaints but some of them are warranted.

I defended the game when it was in Beta and said once the 1.0 version came out, if it was not as advertised, there would be loads of complaints. They will fix a lot of the problems in this game, I'm not to worried about that right now. I like the game but do get frustrated with it sometimes too.

Despite well intentions, this thread only makes things worse. The irony here is that the topic suggests exactly what this thread is: Whining and complaining about whining and complaining. It should be locked.

It doesn't help anything.. In the end the developers are the only once responsible for the feedback they get.

Asking people not to complain isn't gonna help anything because people have all the rights to complain if something isn't good. Of course do it with respect don't try to trash an entire game or make it personal - but give constructive feedback.

I'm far from pleased with how this game was released but i'll just slow things down and accepted that coming back near december is a better option to see what this game is all about. It will be a better , more fair time-table for this game to really start playing it.

Sort of like when a girl tells you to stop staring at her chest....it just makes you look more.

For a first version, this game is great IMO! Management simulation games are incredibly complex pieces of software, and it takes many years to polish them and get them to a state where you can call the games close to being flawless.

I personally am very proud of Sebastian, Malte and Jeff They will continue to improve FHM 2014 and add more great stuff in the coming years. And some day, it will be on par with OOTP, I'm pretty sure of that.

Cheers,
Markus

On par with OOTP 14. But then there will be OOTP 28 with complete 3D.

Why lock a thread because it talks negative about the game? That's pretty childish to Me. If people didn't complain about certain aspects of the game, then the game wouldn't get any better. Constructive criticism is a good thing.

I know this is the internet and all, but there's a difference between constructive criticism and just being a bitter douche.

I love this game so far. It is a bit annoying with the crashes and other bugs and imperfections at times, but it's still pretty boss for an initial version.

In my opinion.

Which happens to be 100 percent fact. Always.
