exporting reports problem?

I have had no issues exporting complete reports in previous versions of OOTP. However, in 14 it does a page at a time. Is there a way to bypass this?

There's a setting in OOTP preferences that defines if you want to see the reports in a paged view or a in a scrollable view. The scrollable view should spit out the complete report. The paged view will show up if the player listing is extremely long, whether or not you've set OOTP to show you the scrollable view. There's no way to spit out the complete report while in the paged view that I'm aware of.

If there are more than 1000 (or maybe 999) players in a list then it will be displayed by pages not matter the setting. You have to reduce your list to below 1000 for it to scroll. Filters won't do this since the results are there just not being shown. Filter your list to below 1000 then shortlist those players and view the shortlist. This should let you view them in the browser then cut/past them to excel.

I can't find it in the preferences. Is it encrypted some where else?

It is on the startup screen -- > preferences --> interface tab

The 8th option down "Player / Coaches lists"

Choose scroll bars or page selectors..

BUT you will still have the issue if there are over 1000 players in the list as I stated earlier in the thread, you will have to use the 'work around' I mention there.

mine says scrollable, list is under 1000, but still reports 1 page at a time.

are you using filters in creating the list?

it is strange. my preferences are set for scrollable. however, I have two separate leagues where one shows up in page view and the other in scrollable. It isn't dependent on volume of the player filter.

Then this is a new issue. The 1000 player limit has been there since at least v12.

edit: You said "It isn't dependent on volume of the player filter", what do you mean by 'player filter'?

In one of the online leagues I am in...

Preference set to scroll bars

1) in player search I set position to 'Catcher' and there are 750 catchers and the list is displayed in pages.

2) I shortlist all 750 catchers and look at the shortlist and it is now a scroll-able list.

So try shortlisting your list results and displaying the shortlist.

just as you described filter to 800 players it is page view in one and scrollable in the other. Could it be in a .cfg league file?

Not sure where the issue is. Pursued it for some time (back in v12 and v13) but have just decided that I will use the work around, shortlisting the players in the list.
