You cheated, tell us in what ways. It doesn't count when you put all the best players in the history of the game on your team. It doesn't count when you run all the AI teams into the ground.

I'm in 2018, and the Cubs have had just one winning season since I started the game in 2012 (it was in 2013). They're currently sitting at 26-66 shortly after the All-Star break. And they keep trading me all their players. Normally I'd feel like I was gaming the AI, but I figure, hey, it's the Cubs.

Can you post your 2002 team? i was wondering why they were so good in 2002 and not 2003. i know Prior was good in 2002 and 2003 and Hee Sop Choi has been a beast in my league, still active in 2015 although not on a roster this year. i'll post mine in a bit. same for anyone else who had them win in 2002 vs 2003.

The current Cubs management said that they had a 5 year plan to turn this team into a contender. I say that it's impossible to turn the ship around that fast. I challenge any of you to take the Cubs in 2013, and turn them into a playoff team by 2018, without being a commissioner, never editing players but you can turn on the "cannot fire" option (otherwise, you'd be out of a job fairly quickly). One caveat, you have to build them for future success, which means developing the farm system so that it's least in the top 10.

Can you do it?

I created an OOTP Challenge thread awhile back. Why don't you post this over there also and revive that thread. A few people tried the Pirates, only one succeeded. Posted our developments in a dynasty thread.
