1 league, schedule all-star game

What happens if you don't have any subleagues, just say one league, and you schedule an all-star game. How is that set up?

I have one sub league with 12 teams 2 divisions It makes an all-star team by division but what if you have no divisions? Or 3 or more divisions? Then what?

I have already tried this out (1 sub-league 1 division) in a test league. I had wanted All-Stars for KCBL. What happens is that no game is played and no players get all-star awards. It is entirely as if you unchecked "hold All-Star game"

Can't be done. Sorry.

Bummer. Can you manually schedule an All-Star Game, and then create the teams yourself, say a foreign and domestic team. Or a players from the North and South, etc.?

OOTP cannot handle that I'm afraid. You need either two divisions in a league or two subleagues in a league to have an automatically generated All-Star Game.

In real life there were various All-Star Game formats devised for single division or multiple division leagues. OOTP doesn't model these as yet. Maybe someday...

Re name all-star team names

I have a 16 team 1SL 4D league. Is there a way to edit the names of the all star teams (instead of team 1 and team 2 all-stars)?
