Pinch Hitters and Runners Lineups

While creating my lineups the other day a question popped in my head about what I was really doing when listing my top pinch hitters and runners.

The Question: If I am filling out my lineups vs RHP does the Pinch Hitter portion of the card reflect against all RHP late in games (say if a LHP starts but a RHP comes in relief) or is it the list of pinch hitters/runners that will be used when that starting lineup is in use?

Recently I have been platooning a lot against RHP/LHP. Many of my starters against RHP won't start as against lefties but I want them then to be the priority if a RHP comes in relief.

I just want to clear up how OOTP uses this logic.
