Batting rating drastically change?

Ok I have a player who normally has a 8 contact rating with a 6 power and he comes to bat with a 2 contact rating and a 5 power, this happens for both LHP and RHP but then after the games I look at his ratings and it's back to 8 and 6, I'm confused how does this happen, is he sick these days?

I don't know your scouting settings, but I see that the in game you have your team scout selected (therefore showing his ratings) and in the profile it is showing OSA ratings. Could be that.
