Your latest Major Transaction(s)?

Continental Baseball League's Syracuse Federals acquired SS Rico Petrocelli from Boston Beacons for two players off Federal's reserve list.

So? Throw out Rico's extreme outlier age-26 season and you have a .250 hitting shortstop with average range. In other words, Damion Easley.

.250 in the late 60s and early 70s is not the same as .250 today.

Rico Petrocelli, career WAR 39.4 in 1554 games, Damion Easley, 17.3 WAR in 1706 games.

Not comparable.

Plus the current Syracuse SS was hitting .178.

Career similarity score for Rico Petrocelli:

1. Roy Smalley (918)
2. Damion Easley (914)
3. Jose Hernandez (898)

Comparable.

Although, since we weren't any given specifics on Orioles's league or players, it's possible that his Petrocelli is the equivalent of our Wade Boggs.

Not likely, but possible.
