Just heard they are about or have already named Dennis Erickson head coach. Crap, I wanted them to take our POS Defensive Coordinator.

Well Erickson could end up proving the doubters wrong but I feel the 49ers just created the perfect template on how to fire a head coach without having any plan with which to follow it up!

So let me see, the 49ers interview some minority candidates to make the NFL happy and then go hire an old white guy who has a sub-.500 record as a head coach in the NFL?
oh yea, that policy seems to be working well.

Instead the NFL is going after the Lions who were turned down by several minority candidates to be interviewed. Yeah, the policy is awesome.
