Rain delay?

What do you guys do in the case of a rain delay? If there is a 65 minute rain delay when the game resumes a pitcher that has thrown 40 pitches will be exhausted and you won't have one warmed up. So how do you handle that situation.

Warm someone up ASAP, and hope they're ready before 40 pitch guy blunders. That's really all you can do.

Play without the warm up rule, the AI doesn't use it.

Yeah, this is really just another example of why you shouldn't use the warm-up rule.

When it starts to rain, I get someone up in the bullpen. If I haven't done that and I get caught without a pitcher ready, place someone into the game and two more up in the pen.

Five thousand thanks for a non-modder? I never thought I'd see the day. Thank you for your support.

I use the warm up rule but If my pitcher is exhausted after a rain delay i will bring in a cold pitcher. I have yet to see any adverse effects from bring in a cold pitcher.
