2013 First Year Player Draft Players Missing?

I started a league, new game with MLB 13 settings.

When the draft class was created, only some of the real life players were there. Appel isn't there, Bryant is, Jonathan Gray isn't there but Colin Moran is.

Anyone know why it's like this?

Because the roster builders are only human? And volunteers at that.

It's pretty easy to change names and make them the real guys. Just turn commisioner mode on and start editing...

I don't think that's it because I've simmed a few seasons before and all the guys were in there. And we're talking about the #1 overall pick and other top 10 guys missing. We know they didn't miss those guys.

Maybe I did something wrong. Is there a special file you need to upload for the draft class? I just did that one all inclusive file for all the images, logos, etc.

I'm new to OOTP if you didn't notice btw. Just got the game last weekend and learning all the ins and outs.

As the guy who added the real draft players to the roster set, I can assure you that none of those guys are missing.

Everyone taken above the mid third round was already in the roster set as of the last official roster update a couple months ago. We're only missing around 50-60 guys taken in the entire top 10 rounds, most of whom have been added by now and will show up when we release updated rosters.

So not sure what you're looking at, but you're missing them somehow. They're there. As to why it's happening for you, honestly I have no clue. You shouldn't have to do anything at all, other than start a game with the 2013 roster set for them to show up. Perhaps you could recheck and maybe post your league files so we can take a look.

This is a screen shot of the draft pool sorted by name.

As you can see, Mark Appel is not listed.

All I did was install the "2013 All-In-One Mod" after doing the New Major League Game - Start with 2013 Major League Rosters.

Is there something else I should upload to show what I"m using? Is it too late, or is there a way to adjust it now?

Clear the filter ("Filter: Custom"). Not sure what you've set there, but it could be filtering him out. The draft pool should be more than 600 players, IIRC.

Hmmmmm, interesting. That did the trick! No idea how I got a filter set on there. Glad you pointed that out before the draft! Told you guys I was a n00b. I gotta get back to the game now and trade for Tim Lincecum. Dude just threw a 148 pitch no hitter!
