I just did this. You will need to update the data folder path after moving the folder.
First, close OOTP. Once OOTP is closed, move the folder to wherever you want the new location to be. Open OOTP, on the main menu choose Preferences (right hand side, 4th button down). Then choose the tab titled "Expert Settings". The first option is "Custom data path (*). Click on the Select button to the right and go to the new location, click on the data folder name and hit Select, then OK. You have to close OOTP and re-start it for the game to recognize the new location. Hope that helps.

Actually you can just delete it. It's left over from a glitch a few years ago and was never fixed. Now you just get it with every new league.
