GDBA has an opening

Golden Days (formerly known as Glory Days) has a rare opening. The Cleveland Indians are available at this time. We are currently heading into the off-season after completion of the 1939 season.

The Indians have been a strong team in the past and won the series in 1934. This year was a down year for them, so they'll have a good pick in the upcoming draft. Current members of the team include Hal Trosky, Bobby Doerr and Paul Waner. Check out the team at the GDBA site:

I'd like to join this one based solely on the ownership group. However, I find I prefer leagues that don't use financials.

This is a good league guys, get in while you can. IatricSB is a top-notch commish.

BTW, I'm surprised to hear that Bob is leaving the league.

Bob has been a valued owner and will be greatly missed. Back when I managed the Yankees (after taking over as commish, I dropped ownership), his teams gave me fits and was one of the ones I always concerned myself with.

You're refering to me specifically, aren't you?

Seriously, this is a great league to be a part of and I'd be suprised if the spot remains open very long.

Thanks for the response everyone, we were able to get the position filled. Let me know if anyone wants to be left on a waiting list. Thanks!

I'm proud to have been selected to be part of such a storied league. I hope to bring these Indians back to their rightful place atop the GDBA.
