Online League using iphone

Hey all, I am thinking about buying and was wondering if you can play in online leagues using an iphone? Never played ootp before but I heard you need to be able to upload/dwnld files?

I have been playing Baseball Manager online for years and think it may have finally died... Hoping this game will have a better future.

I'm fairly certain that you cannot do an online league on an iphone. If I'm wrong I would love to learn how.

You can't use iOOTP to participate in an online league as online leagues use "regular" OOTP, which isn't available on mobile platforms. That said, a large part of participating in online leagues is the online community associated with the league. That usually consists of a website and forum where online league info is posted and discussed. Those things are certainly accessible from mobile platforms. You would need a copy of OOTP on PC, Mac, or Linux to send in your team export for online leagues.
