Does Player Injury Status Ever Improve?

Has anybody ever experienced a player's injury status improving in the game if they string together a few seasons of limited or injury free play?

Starlin Castro suffered a season ending injury in May of my first season and now has a injury status of fragile. I typically avoid these players and I'm debating whether to trade him or not. He is having a monster season in 2014 and his trade value is very high right now.

Thanks for any insight or observations you can provide.

I've also seen it go the other way. In one league, Dustin Pedroia could not stay on the field and after a couple seasons, he was listed as "wrecked".
