GM Help Deleted GM Now can't hire a GM

I messed up and deleted a GM that was on a team. The game doesn't let you hire a GM for a team that already has one. Even after you delete one from a team the game still thinks they are there.

Is there a way to edit the personel file in the game to delete him and then import it back in.. Or do i have to start all over again with my teams.

I was deleted all the extra personel one by one and messed up and deleted a GM that was already in the game.

Anybody have any idea's.

I wish they would let us just hire anybody we want , without firing the other guy first.

Try commish-ing yourself as that team and firing their GM.

I tried that. That GM doesn't even show up because he has been deleted.

If you look at the files , after you export them you can see him still there.
Because of that the game thinks they have still have a GM you can't hire one or change a GM to that team either.

I once had a similar problem and was able to sign a new GM by just advancing one day IIRC. The AI seemingly does not realize the lack of personnel on a certain position before the next day if you delete managers or coaches.

Try advancing 2 days and still no luck..

I noticed that the GM's for one division in my league don't even show up in the personnel screen.. I had this happen with my Managers and Bench Coach's before and forgot how i fixed the problem..

I think this something that just might need to be looked at..maybe a fix in the works i hope.

consider doing a search for the GM to see if perhaps some other team snatched him up already ???

Found out what was wrong I Think

I had the game set to I was controlling all teams.. Once i went to Ai control all teams..The GM's showed up in the personnel screen.

Then i had to make my GM's not showing up a free agent and hire them back. That worked great. Looks like when you control all teams the GM's are disabled. So you can't make changes in that mode. If you hire a GM in that mode they don't show up for the teams you hired them for. So for it to work right you must be in AI controls that team.

I wish they could just have a Hire And Fire button for all coaches scouts and GM's.

Thanks for everyone who has gave me idea's to try.
