Trade Difficulty slider

Rather than having five options for Trading Difficulty, I propose a slider that has a more nuanced affect on the game. (Similar slider for Trade Preference would be smart as well).

The jumps (standard differentiation) between the difficulties seem far too great.

For my own purposes, I'd like an option (or three) that's more difficult than Average and less difficult than Hard.

Thoughts?

Not a bad idea, but could be difficult to code. Maybe something like a slider with settings 1-20 with 10 being the default?

I would like this too, but as blasek said it could be a coding nightmare and may not be possible without a complete overhaul.

my guess would be that most players on this topic would just like to see one additional trade catagory added- something between average (which is too easy for trades) and hard (which tends to make it hard to make a trade at all)
if something in between those showed up, my guess is that many would use it

I was gonna suggest making the Hard & Very Hard tougher to trade on

This was acknowledged in the original post. His suggestion was to expand upon the 5 difficulty settings already present, allowing for more fine-tuning of the AI's trading preferences.
