Do AI GM's have "personalities"?
I asked a question in the "new to the game" forum regarding shopping players to more than one team, which turned into a question about playing one GM off another to get better trade value. And that got me thinking...
I'm playing offline/2013 All In One Mod, and I wonder whether the AI GM's have personalities. For instance, does the GM for the Yankees try to win using a different, unique philosophy than the Royals, or the Dodgers? Are there any patterns in trade execution? Any draft preferences? I wonder, because in real baseball, the GM's familiarize themselves with their fraternity across the league, over time, and find ways of manipulating each other. Sometimes trade partners emerge, other times they grow more distant. Two teams might build a strong trade history, while others never answer the phone. There's no "one size fits all" approach in the real game, so I thought these concepts may have found their way into OOTP. |

Yes. That's what the "Overall Roster Strategy" section is about, on the Team Strategy page.
