Wowzers
Just simmed from 1980-2010 to get some league history for my fictional game I'm going to play and look at this guys HR totals...
4 years into the league and he has hit 43, 61, 67 and 78 homers!! Dude is already a lock to be a HOF'r. Question is, now that I finished simming, do I delete league history and league stats and go from there? Or what. I have heard that you should sim 15-20 years, then delete league history and all stats and then continue on. |

I always sim 25 years and delete the history to get rid of the initial players in the pool, so that all players have entered the league in the same fashion. However, Markus assures me that he has fixed the problem with young players in the initial pool often being much better than any player at his age could ever be later on during the life of the league.
So, it is really up to you. Do you want to step into a world that has been working just fine without you for years or do you want to start on a fresh clean slate? There is no right or wrong answer...it's just personal preference.... |
