Development
I have a created a new league where I am simming until 2013. I have development turned off and the players are instead recalulcated every year.
But, I also have decided to not have retire players according to history and not have players miss seasons according to history. My question is what happens to a player who continues in OOTP beyond when his major league career ended. That would cover both a player who retired in, lets say 2004 in real life, but not until 2008 in my league and also those players who didn't fare well enough in their rookie year in real life to get a 2nd season in reality, but was good enough to continue their career in the OOTP world. Since development is turned off, does the player just continue to retain the same ratings he had in the final year that he existed in real life? |

This isn't really related to my first set of questions, but just thought I'd put it here instead of starting 2 new threads this morning.
Let's say that I want to manually increase the size of the national media contracts, local media contracts and merchandising figures. What's the best time to do it? I want each team to then be able to factor that into their offseason budget. When would those budgets be determined? Also, if I increase this manually, is the game just going to read in a figure from its database and substitute its figure for what I enter? |

I withdraw the questions about development, based on what I've learned from reading other threads here.
But, I am still interested in finding out about the manual adjusting of average media contracts. I do still want to know when I should do that, I'm order to have the new entry beig considered for team budgets. |
