online draft utility I created for the league I'm in

. this is a live draft going on right now.)

Requires a site with PHP and mySQL support. It doesn't currently have any admin tools to go with it. I manually upload/modify all of the data.

Features:
- shows last team and selectionk, current team drafting, and next team to draft after current
- shows round, pick and team for drafted players
- shows a radio button for undrafted players. simply select the radio button and press the draft button at the bottom to select a player.
- has an undo button to "undraft" the last selected player
- auto-sends an email to the next player when it is his/her pick

Not sure if others would find it useful but I'd be willing to give away the php code and table schemas. You just have to promise to share with me any cool enhancements or admin tools that you create.

Erm, it would be a good idea to make it such that not just anyone can push the buttons. Good idea though.

That could be a very useful application MNBob. There is nothing I like more (well, fantasy sports wise) than participating in live drafts, but lord knows that it can be a very looooooooooong and draaaaaaaawn out procces. Anything that can shave minutes off of a draft (online or live) is a definite step in the right direction.

What I would love to see is an application that could run a live draft, sort of like Yahoo's live draft. To be able to upload a file with the picks on it, see who is getting picked, who is left, ratings, who was picked already, team rosters, etc, using a windows with tabs on it. Just click on the Catchers tab to see who is left, or pull up the roster of the Mularkey Mugwumps via a drop down menu, all while maintaining the chat off to the side. That would be the golden ticket of draft applications

Of course. But I whipped it up in only a couple of hours to help out our league. It is far from being feature complete (my mention of having no admin features being another example).
