Been running an experiment, and been running the free agent draft every year the day Free Agents file, and they seem to be, unfortunately, failing to re-sign with their new teams. Not a single player, as far as I can tell, signed a new deal after their one-year deal with their new team expired. Is this because it displays that they got contracts from the previous year, rather than the following year? Just wondering.
