Hello everyone. I'm fairly new to OOTP, having toyed with the v12 demo, and some v13 games when the price dropped. I pre-ordered and have dipped a toe in to v14 (and I did patch it

). I've been lurking on the boards here for several months, and finally decided to make an account and join the community!

I've been primarily a hockey fan, followed by American Football, and am recently getting back in to Baseball after not paying much attention to it for close to 15 years. I've enjoyed OOTP-like games for other sports, but could never wrap my head around Baseball sims. All the financials, games, contracts, line-ups, rotations, when to deal a player, when to find a trade, where are the weaknesses, and so-on. On the other hand, I dislike the action-oriented sports games - not enough time for me to think and react!

What I do have is patience and the amazing skill of writing down notes, which will come in handy with OOTP! I've found many of the threads to be informative, helpful, and most of all - the community seems very supportive of each other.

I'm looking forward to being somewhat active here - but I admit I don't always make my presence known unless I can contribute or have a burning question.
