2nd season running Blue Jays = Dream Season (World Series, Most HR's in MLB History)
In my 2nd season running the Blue Jays, I just had what I can only describe as a dream season. Virtually injury free, my Jays finished 109-53 on the way to winning the 2014 World Series. I won the AL Manager of the Year Award.
We beat the Atlanta Braves 3-0 on November 4th in game 7 of the World Series. RA Dickey pitched the full 9 innings, giving up 6 hits, no runs, no walks, and 7 strikeouts. Jose Bautista had a 3 run bomb in the 5th off Kris Medlan. We also broke the 1997 Seattle Mariners record for most home runs in a season by a single team. The record was 264, and the 2014 Jays finished with 278. SP - RA Dickey SP - Josh Johnson SP - C.J Wilson SP - Brandon Morrow SP - Ubaldo Jiminez MR - Jeff Francis MR - Steve Delabar MR - Phillippe Aumont MR - Al Alburquerque SU - Casey Janssen SU - Koji Uehara CL - Aroldis Chapman C - Russell Martin 1B - Justin Morneau 2B - Brandon Phillips 3B - Brett Lawrie SS - Jose Reyes LF - Melky Cabrera CF - Colby Rasmus RF - Jose Bautista DH - Edwin Encarnacion Bench: Anthony Gose Maicer Izturis Pedro Alvarez Chris Stewart Due to financial reasons, in the off-season I've had to shed some salary, so I'm not as confident about repeating, but we'll see. So, how is your season(s) currently going? What are some of the noteworthy happenings for your team? I love this game.
