One of the best teams of all time?
Jesus Christ.... Look at the team I have assembled
![]() My catcher, he has 20 power potential. Hasn't reached it yet. ![]() My first baseman, he's in the declining stages of his career. Still good vs LHP ![]() My 2B, a solid all around player. Lacking a good eye, though. ![]() My 3B, also an all around solid player. Signed him in free agency for $12million ![]() My SS, a good contact hitter. Not much power, but that's no problem. ![]() My LF. I signed him in free agency for $12 million as well. Incredible talent. ![]() My CF. A solid all around player, once again. ![]() RF....A stud. Starting Pitching: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() My bullpen is solid, but you are just going to have to take my word for it haha. What do you all think of my team? |

Last years team:
![]() ![]() ![]() Lost out in the playoffs. $170 million payroll by the way. Additions this offseason... ![]() Not an addition, but he grew as a player. ![]() An upgrade over my previous first baseman. He wanted too much money so I had to let him walk, he ended up signing a 5 year 20 million per contact. As a declining 1B, I couldn't take on that contract. ![]() A good starting pitcher on a cheap contract. My team is even better this year than it was last year, I am excited! |

One of the best teams...
Wow. Even the logo color is blue-green. Watch those contracts and extension demands.
Thanks for sharing. |

An extremely good team, not the best ever though. 123 wins is extremely good, but tell me when u get 130 and sweep through the post season. 132 wins is my record. Your Ace is weak to be considered best all time team, but that could be a product of your league more than anything, and no doubt he's a top 3 pitcher in your league.
BTW, I would be interested to see their defensive abilities as well. That's a major part of it. Last edited by magicspeedo; 10-01-2013 at 01:30 PM. |

Here's my best season by wins: 135-27 regular season record + championship. Season score: 1347 (out of 1000??). "Rock Star" status!
Note the team ERA is 2.08!! |

Wow! Congratulations! My best season score is 1347 on a 135 win team that won the world series. To be honest, I haven't the faintest idea how that is calculated. It's rather mysterious, taking a lot more into account than wins, etc. I suspect that improving over the previous year and exceeding expectations add to the score, as well, but I'm not sure.
