Watching a game

What plans are there to improve the experience of watching a game?

I think in the current version this is the weakest part of the game,
so I'm sure there are improvements to come and I'm really curious about what they might be?

It does seem right now that the game sort of plays like baseball. Away wins a faceoff and retains possession for 5-10 minutes as if they were up at bat, then home wins a faceoff and the same thing happens. 5- 20 straight shots on goal before the other team gains possession. I'm sure this will get fixed eventually.
