weather and ballparks

so, does weather mean anything in this game? in the ballparks screen you can set the weather data for each field. so i am wondering if it at all affects the game. if so, it would be nice that when you create a new team, or change the city that the weather data would also change to the closest data that the game has. instead of having to manually sift through the cities to find the closest one.

Rain obviously causes rain delays. Longer delays mean more fatigue lost by pitchers.

I think I read something once that excessive cold and heat also affect fatigue. Or did I dream that?

I have a league based around the equator, for the most part, so it doesn't impact me...

But, if you play a normal North American league you may want to manually adjust all March temperature to like 70 degress in order to simulate Florida or Arizona.

Otherwise, your players maybe playing in 30 degree temperatures in Boston during March and getting injuries left and right.

The only thing I noticed about the weather has already been stated about fatigue and injuries.

Wind direction and speed have very little bearing what so ever. If it did, a light hitting pitcher would not hit a 440 ft homerun with the wind blowing in from CF at 25 miles per hour. Had that happen a couple of times.

I played a fictional team in Mt. Washington, NH for a few season and the wind speed there is contastantly around 35 miles per hour, in from CF. I had a few 450+ home runs hit there. Even with the HR setting for the field around .900 for both left and right handed hitters.
