Trade for Ethier not working-- new to game & unsure why this is happening!

In the middle of my dynasty, Andre Ethier has been placed on the trade block. The Dodgers are rebuilding and I wanted to snag Ethier in an attempt to build my team into a winner, however the "make this work now" button disappears as soon as I place a player in the drag & drop slot despite Colletti agreeing to the deal for said player(s). Any idea how to fix this? I would like to make a trade for him.

The "make this work now" button is only there when the AI wants more than you're offering. If the AI agrees to the deal, there's a "complete trade" button down at the bottom right.

This, and there should be a statement in the box like "GM X says Yes, I agree to this trade".

Yep, what they said above. Make this work now is there when they DON'T agree to a trade. Clicking that button would then make a list of players that you could add to make the trade work. Bottom right, click complete trade.
