Single but thrown out at 2nd
Did you ever notice a single but thrown out at 2nd is scored as a double in the box score and for stats?

Haven't noticed that, but a walk-off game winning hit other than a homer should be scored a single, but instead doubles and triples are played out which is ridiculous to have players sliding into 2nd or 3rd after the winning run has scored.
