Vancouver team name ideas plz.
I'm thinking about expanding or just moving an existing team to Vancouver, Canada or Portland, Oregon in my solo league.
I really don't wanna go with the cheesy "Canadians" or similarish monikers for Vancouver. Does anyone have any solid team name ideas for either team?

Polar Bears? Seriously?
And you wonder why Canadians make fun of Americans not knowing anything about us... |

Sorry, of course you know that Tigers and Lions are native to southeast Michigan, right? But seriously, outside of maybe Anchorage Alaska, and possibly Winnipeg, Manitoba, how many sustainable major league markets lie between Vancouver, British Columbia and the good Ole Arctic Circle?

I have personally seen a polar bear while on Canadian soil, near Churchill. Admittedly I saw it with binoculars, but it was a polar bear. Vital Ground - Polar Bear Distribution Map File:Polar bear range map.png - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Now if Yellowknife were to have a team... For Vancouver ocean and forest names work much better. Mountains work as well. |
