Just a general thread to post observations, stories, or random stuff from your game

I decided to try to do some PBP in an effort to get a little more into the game (running the bullpen effectively will also be a large plus). But anyway, it was the final game of a series against the Tribe. Bottom of the ninth w/ 1 out, I'm up 5 runs with a LH reliever in & a RH cleanup hitter up. 2 more lefties due up next, so I decide to intentionally walk the cleanup hitter, but then I decide to hit the batter instead

My reliever then puts away the final 2 outs to avoid an awkward 10th inning. Unwritten rules be damned

The fact that the batter in question was Albert Belle may have had something to do with it. The fact that my reliever was John Rocker may have factored into the equation as well

Unless your pitcher is John Rocker, i cant think of a more universally hated pitcher, I think everyone would just hope they would brawl for a while after the HBP

Have what looks to be a pretty good squad but a have a glaring weakness in the pen

Moved a pretty good C (LH batter to boot), my starting RF & my 2nd-4th round draft picks for a young stud RP. Just hoping the 2 rookies I'm calling up from my minors to plug the holes at C & RF don't make me regret the trade

I'm convinced I could have 6 Mariano Riveras in my bullpen & I still couldn't get 2+ innings of quality relief against a minor league team

Does anyone ever make a player of themselves and put him in the draft pool to see what happens to him over his career?
