2 Questions
1) Why are my relievers starting games, I do not have injuries or spot starters set, and its even happening when I have off days in the middle, A few times it even skipped my 5th starter, started a MR in his place, and he wasnt benched, injured, suspended ect. Anyone know a work around without manually changing it every game?
2) When a starter has 3 plus pitches and a 4th really bad one, will he ignore it mostly or will he throw it and it gets rocked? Should I avoid pitchers unless all of their pitches are plus pitches? Example (20-80 scale) Identical Stuff/Mov/Control Pitcher A has 60 Fastball, Slider, Curve Pitcher B has the same and a 25 Changeup too, will he be a less efficient pitcher? |

I don't know about question number 2, but regarding question one, what's your rotation mode (strict order; strict, on occasion highest rested; etc.)?

For question 1 you can also prevent AI changes in your team home page. You have to switch to commish mode and then check the box, then turn commish off.

I've used always start highest rested and strict but sometimes start highest rested, and it still uses MR's that are not spot starters, I have had 4 different middle relievers make a total 11 starts by just after the all-star break. It's an online league so using commish mode is not an option |
