What happens to unspend draft money?
Does it roll over to next year's draft? Does it just move into your overall available expenses?
Merry Christmas! |

Does each team have a different budget? My team has $7.5M, so what happens if I draft a guy demanding $10M? Will he just not sign, or is it a "maybe" situation?

If you have enough room for signing FAs, you can sign that $10m demanding guy.

It looks like I'm going to be under in my money spent (I skipped on that guy at pick #2...he went #9).
What happens to this money if I don't spend it? Does it get added into my budget or just go back into the owner's "bank account?" I drafted a guy in the 33rd round (of 40) who had a $3M demand out of HS. He indicated he'd go to college if I didn't meet...I have the money to sign him, but want to know what happens to the money if I don't sign him. |

Your draft budget will go "poof" if you don't use it.

The draft money I don't use seems to roll over to the next year. My owner usually gives me $7,000,000 each year and I have had amounts of 30 million dollars the next year.
