i cant seem to find any info on this. do they release a new version of ootp every season? do you have to pay for every new release? or is it a one time price with free upgrades? thank you.

New version every season. They add features and options every year.

No free upgrades, you will need to buy the newest version each year to get the updated rosters. The game does have free upgrades for bug fixes and Markus adds a few new features in during the year.

Overall the game is worth the 39.95 a year price and at times he lowers the prices during the year.

Yeh, it is like Madden in a lot of ways except that usually Madden gets 1 or 2 patches to fix things and OOTP fixes things throughout the year if needed and additional features are added as well.
